Allowing students to create competitions
An idea we recently had was creating a feature that allowed students to create a challenge for a specific game, tracking either the amount of achievements earned or the number of total wins. Other students could take a look at the open competitions and join in. Students could compete for a trophies. The student that creates the competition could event customize and name the trophy. From our feedback we know that students really enjoy the contests and goals, so we're thinking that giving them control over their own competitions might engage them even more. Let us know if you think this is a good idea.
I love the idea of incorporating composition games into Tonic Tutor! I think several of my students would be delighted with this.
I can see the benefit of this and am fortunate enough to have a student who would just love to organize one. It would teach a valuable organizational skill that they really encourage in the schools. I say, give it a try.
